Believing that the Holy Spirit’s voice can speak to us today, in the midst of extreme suffering, is key to any experience of divine healing. In both testimonies shared here, the voice of the Holy Spirit played a role in divine healing. Because of oversimplifications about James 5, many Christians wrongly think that divine healing is about simply “mustering” up a trusting miracle mindset, with your own thoughts, all by yourself and then saying some prayers. No! The gifts of the Holy Spirit have got to kick in someplace for divine healings to occur. It might come across as too harsh for me to publish this list of Daystar preachers; and this isn’t all of them. This is just the last 100 that have appeared on the Daystar channel in the past year. Pray for Josh, Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson, Julie Roys, and the other podcasters who continue to cover this tragic story and actually need to lawyer up, because they keep getting threatened with cease-and-desist letters and lawsuit ultimatums from the Daystar people to try and make them shut up, which is totally unbiblical. Christians aren’t supposed to sue one another (see 1 Corinthians 6:1-7). Its just evidence of the fact that the Daystar people know they’re probably guilty as sin; and are trying to shut up Josh and these other podcasters, who keep running these podcast exposés about the Daystar scandal. I’ll give some of these preachers the benefit of the doubt, like Bill Wiese (author of 23 Minutes in Hell) and Martin Sedra (who frequently preaches boldly against homosexuality and Islam). But this is my Pentecostal camp! And I’m jealous to preserve the purity of it! It may very well be the case that some of the preachers on this list don’t know the whole story about “Pete,” and are just busy ministers who said, “Yes” to an email invite from Daystar. Who wouldn’t? I probably would’ve said, “Yes” myself if I was ever invited, and I didn’t know about this whole tragic perverted story. But I do know better, thank God. –J.B.
