Welcome to the online presence of an evangelistic ministry based on Wesleyan theology. Our goal is to help people live holy lives and follow Jesus with all their hearts. We want to hold on to the old Gospel while participating with the work of the Holy Spirit today. This is not about becoming a Puritan. Its about returning to old truths about salvation and the Christian life. “Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls” (Jeremiah 6:16). We gladly stand with churches that hold to the basics of the Christian faith, most churches in the National Association of Evangelicals, and other Bible believing churches. Jesus told us to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature!” (Mark 16:15). That’s why we write articles, record podcasts, publish e-books, and share messages by other faithful Christian speakers. We also believe that God has literally called this ministry to “cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins” (Isaiah 58:1).
John is a revivalist evangelist who preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ with urgency. He calls people and churches to repent, trust in the real Jesus Christ, and try to live holy lives. His preaching points people to obey God’s Word, the reality of Hell, and life with the Holy Spirit. John would normally be available to preach at revival meetings, evangelistic services, camp meetings, youth revivals, and special church services across the United States, especially with Church of God, independent holiness and Pentecostal churches, Wesleyan, Bible Methodist, Free Methodist, Nazarene, Assemblies of God, and Baptist churches. Right now, however, the ministry is focused on growing the audience of the podcast and blog.
This ministry is about strong, bold, confrontational, hard preaching against sin. Like a sheepdog and a watchman, its aimed at warning people about the danger of sin and points them to the Gospel of Christ. Messages are spoken plainly and bluntly about things like pornography, sexual sin, drugs, alcohol, and the tragic results of living in rebellion to the law of God. Some sermons may be PG-13 because they’re meant to help teens and adults break free. Above all, every message points people to salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the forgiveness of sins, and a life of holiness and obedience to God.
