    Hey Jb,

I know you’re Pentecostal, so I was not sure your position on Women in Pastoral leadership or Women Preaching. Does that play into your response to Krick’s sermon? I think you had an overall good response. It seems like some preachers want to correct an issue they see, but they attack it so hard that they end up preaching a different Gospel. What are your thoughts?

    • 1. I believe the New Testament teaches female submission to male authority–first in the home, second in the church. I also believe your daughters can prophesy. Women can preach, share dreams and visions, pray, and release words of knowledge in public, but must do so in a manner that is not feminist, but submits to the patriarchal structure of the Bible (Eph. 5). This means I think female senior pastors are in the wrong, because that’s not just teaching but also usurping authority over men in a feministic way akin to Jezebel in 1 Kings. 2. I think Kathryn would do well to read some Wesleyan soteriology.
