In The Hands of God – John Boruff

Almighty God and Everlasting Father
In You there is hope;
Judge of all mankind
In You there is righteousness.

You are both Judge and Father
The wicked are your enemies;
You care for the righteous
By Your Spirit–they are strengthened.

Those who refuse goodness–
You will punish in life and death;
Those who try to live right
You show forgiveness and mercy.

Your grace shines on the righteous
All who dread your punishments–
To all who worship the Righteous Judge
The blood of the cross brings mercy.

The righteous are disciplined by God
And they are teachable;
And the righteous will prosper
Because God watches over them.
