Puritan Killjoy – John Boruff

You say I have no fun
That I only care to judge;
Its the only way I run
To make you hold a grudge.

Don’t go to Hell–
Resist the pleasures of sin!
You know you want to be well
So, why can’t I ever win?

Entertainment tonight
I smash your TV;
Onward, pray through the night
Why am I your enemy?

I love you–so I warn
Your senses are polluted;
The devil your soul has torn
Your joys are convoluted.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
His Holy Spirit frees us!
The joy of worshiping Jesus!
You need more of Jesus!
