If you’re wondering why Wilkerson preaches so much against rock, heavy metal, and punk–its because of the sexual nature of it; and bringing provocative clothing and sensual dancing into the house of God. That was his primary concern. It wasn’t about melodies, sounds, and beats. It was about the sensuous and effeminate overtones that he saw, of men acting like women in the “Christian glam rock” groups such as Stryper that wore spandex in church. –J.B.
