Against the Gay Movement In America
Christ rescued Tim by His death for men
I accept Him in, I once slept in sin
Yes, I’m now His resurrected kin
But the Christian race is starting, so let’s begin
What a hectic thing I’m stepping in
A plethora of men and women expect to win
Trying to cross the border like a Mexican
But the kingdom doors are closing, let’s be pressing in!
It’s not a competition to conquer Christians
We help each other get across the finish line
But those who turn back get killed when they halt
And turn into a pillar of salt
But I thought salvation’s through faith alone?
Yes, but this faith is shown by those who make it home
’cause Christ’s words are clear
Those who are saved endure to the end and persevere
The pilgrimage is through the wilderness
And I must kill my own sin and filthiness
I see the grime that’s within, I’m despising my sin
To see the King’s face is the prize at the end!
’cause my portion’s my Lord and my Father
I brought nothin’ with me, but my Sword and my Armor
And I brought a pocket full of manna
And Christ’s righteousness, I’m rockin’ as my banner
He paved the way exact and gave His map
To help me stay away from Satan’s traps
Plus, He gave me His Spirit to guide me
When I’m weary and tired, His Spirit revives me
I realized something drastic has happened
That shapes my attractions and fashions my actions
I died with Christ and rose with Him
So now I have dominion over sin
At first I ran great over landscapes
’cause I can’t wait to see the Lamb’s face
Daily refreshed on new supplies of manna
With my Sword, I’m killing lies and slander
I see wolves in sheep’s clothes
I was told that these foes are as greedy and cold as Pete Rose
I avoided the pack
But some of my boys were attacked and destroyed by the trap!
I soon fell into a swamp of slime
At the sight of my sin, I almost lost my mind
And started spittin’ up at the sickenin’ stuff
It was the sin that easily trips me up!
These slithery cords started bringin’ me towards
The bottom of the swamp, I was swingin’ my Sword
To slice them off of me
Now I feel trife and sloppy, see, and this life’s exhaustin’ me
So I ran to a mountain of Love
And dove headfirst in it’s fountain of blood
After being renewed and cleansed
I realized it’s better to run with a crew of friends
Plus I realized I’m my worst enemy
It’s my own sinful nature that hinders me
On top of solid rock, I’m running again
And not on soggy slop, I’m shunning my sin
“This is the fight of my life, I sure can’t afford to be slipping
This is the fight of my life, I sure can’t afford to be slipping”
I then passed by the city of destruction
And I seen how it’s wicked and disgustin’
Full of wicked worldliness
And images of pretty girlie’s hips and jiggy pearly wrists
When I passed their block, I was asked to stop
But I had to say I’d rather not
I was slapped and socked as the laughin’-stock
I tried to warn them, “God’s wrath is hot!”
But they abused this Christian, they refused to listen
They wouldn’t choose the good news of the crucifixion
This city was full of pagans braggin’
And its ruler was this huge flamin’ dragon
But this one cat asked for the Messiah
So I grabbed his hand and snatched him from the fire
But then this girl, she stopped and gave up
She loved the world more than the God of Jacob
I must reset my pace for the rest of this hectic race
So I shed some extra weight
And kept my eyes on Christ, fixed on Him
So I wouldn’t slip in sin and trip again
But I took my eyes off Christ and tripped and stumbled
Down this cliff, I crumbled, I ripped my bundle
Plus my hand is cut, my pants are stuck
And now I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!
I see the world’s tyrant economy sponsored
It was this giant pornography monster
It grabbed my legs, I was stabbed with pegs
So I had to pray for a path to escape
Just then, rushed in a crew of brethren
They rescued me from the poo I stepped in
Forget a jar of scope, a bar of soap
I washed in the blood of the Lamb of God to soak
I seen my weakness, now my strength is crushed
So Christ became my crutch and strength and trust
Jesus is my treasure, but He feels so far away in this dry desert
I know I must murder my sin and endure to the end
But now I’m thirsting for Him
And I’m so anxious
So the Spirit led me to an oasis my soul craves this
I drank from joyful springs
To rest from my toil to sing to the anointed King (Hallelujah!)
It renewed my hope in the open tomb
But then I see the kingdom doors, they’re closing soon!
I must be relentless to rush to the entrance
Along with brothers who trust with repentance
But there’s not a lot who are soldiers
Who run with their cross on top of their shoulders
By my road map, I’m soon reminded
The gate is narrow and there’s few that find it
And those that do, don’t dilly-dally in
They’re really rowdy men who kill and battle sin
But at the last stretch, the porn monster
Returned to tempt me to be a whore-monger
So with my Sword, I hacked it to pieces
’cause I’m way more attracted to Jesus!
Now I enter the gates, endin’ this race
Jesus, my Hope, and His Splendor awaits
And though I’m pressin’ in, detestin’ sin
It’s His blood and righteousness that gets me in
I’m now ready to see His majesty
“It’s the King of Glory!”, I’m screaming happily
As I bask in His presence, perfect in pleasure
I’ll worship forever with gladness and reverence
Wonderin’ what’s to come
And after ten thousand years, it’s as if it’s just begun
Wonderin’ what’s to come
And after a million years, it’s as if it’s just begun

No man is to have sexual relations with another man;
God hates that.
–Leviticus 18:22 (GNT)–
On the very day Lot left Sodom,
fiery flames poured down from the sky and killed everyone.
–Jesus in Luke 17:29 (CEV)–
Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
–Jude 1:7 (NIV)–
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
–Romans 1:27 (NIV)–

The left side shows where her face was when she looked back at Sodom being destroyed. The right side shows what used to be her long hair coming down her upper back. The rest of the pillar shows the curvature of what used to be her body.

Calvary Chapel Magazine, “California Bill Endangers Children, Overrides Parents.” (August 21, 2025). Pastor Jack Hibbs, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, CA, strongly encourages the voters of California to reject Assembly Bill (AB) 495 at the state Capitol on Tuesday. He has been warning Californians that this bill—which expands categories of those who can claim “caregiver” rights over a child—will strip them of their parental rights. Opponents say nightmare bill AB 495 exposes children to kidnappers, traffickers, and predators. It could become law within the next two weeks unless vetoed.

Some Christians Are Against All Rock Music…And I Just Don’t Understand It
The cold escapes
My heart is drenched through
Fate comes pouring down, trip out
Negative space in cycles
Been caught in our radar
We’ve been waiting here patiently
Locked in this state, clocking our time
The storm remains
And my heart’s entrenched new
Fate explores me now, trip out
Why do we bathe in this psyche?
Remain calm in our mental
We display it in our patience
Locked in this stage, plotting our time
Now wе sail to
The storm implodes now
Exploring your fate
Now wе sail, starting now behold
Negative space in cycles
Destroying our mental
Remains in our conscious
Constant

Having every one of them harps.
–Revelation 5:8 (KJV)–
Its one thing for Christians to feel a sort of cringe reaction to music that’s against sanctification, such as songs about sex, drugs, witchcraft, and crime. Any type of songs that glorify the works of the flesh: “adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like” (Galatians 5:19-21). The first four words could be wrapped up into sexual immorality, the next two into the occult, the next seven into violence, drunkenness, and partying. And even these last two could boil down to sexual immorality again. So to simplify the problem:
1. FORNICATION.
2. WITCHCRAFT.
3. VIOLENCE.
Of course it goes without saying that listening to songs with PROFANITY should be out of the question for born again Christians (Col. 3:8). These four things should grieve the Holy Spirit of God; and if you’re born again, you should have a sense of that which grieves God (Eph. 4:30). Any music that thematically goes against the Ten Commandments should grieve you if you’re saved: anything that glorifies pagan gods, takes the name of God in vain, is anti-Christian, is anti-family, violent or murderous, glorifies gang life and criminality, sexual immorality, theft, lying to get ahead, or approves of greed and self-centeredness. With all that being said, why do so many Christians and even pastors so love The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Office, when these forms of entertainment plainly celebrate Norse paganism, crime, and secular humanism? The Office is profusely quoted by most pastors, even though its replete with sexual jokes and even has a woman that occasionally flashes her coworkers! Hardly is that obedience to the command: “whatsoever things are pure…think on these things” (Php. 4:8). And these are the youth pastors who’ll take your teenage daughters to youth events over the weekend! The IMDb Parents Guide search on Google has become my Christian friend just as much as Clearplay, VidAngel, Genius, and SongMeanings for filtering out nudity, profanity, and bad lyrics. I haven’t used Facebook in two years or so; and I thank God that I’ve had the strength to lay it down because of all the soft porn that’s on it; and CovenantEyes protects me from getting lured into the hard stuff.
Its better to study the Bible and hear the sermons of holiness preachers like Leonard Ravenhill and David Wilkerson than for “a man to hear the song of fools” (Eccl. 7:5). And a lot of rock bands, rap groups, and country musicians–are FOOLS that deny God, if not with their actual words, then with their lifestyles. And the Bible tells us that its the fool that has said in his heart, “There is no God” and that “they are corrupt,” and have “done abominable works” (Ps. 14:1). So why shouldn’t you listen to secular music, as they call it? So you won’t get brainwashed into a godless, atheistic fool, that’s why. They are worldly, even demonically inspired poems set to music. It’s got nothing to do with taking away your fun for the sake of being a killjoy; and everything to do with preserving your mind, heart, and conscience from becoming totally seared as with a hot iron (1 Tim. 4:2). “Strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil” (Hebrews 5:14), and you’re going to get that from in-depth Bible study, KJV Bible reading, and KJV Bible preaching. And yes, with an emphasis on the KJV, because the theology of it is unique. That doesn’t mean you need to buy a $150 Cambridge KJV Bible, or read nothing but that translation, and Sword of the Lord books, and pass out Chick tracts, but why not consume them anyway? Why not feed your spirit and grow?
There’s nothing wrong with listening to clean songs that “play skilfully with a loud noise” (Ps. 33:3), and even to apply them towards worshiping God. Adam Clarke, the Methodist preacher, had preached against playing all musical instruments in Christian Theology, pages 279-282, because he thought Amos 5:23 was against them: “Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols,” and he even went so far as to say that King David was wrong for endorsing instruments in the Psalms, because he was a carnal man with bad judgment, sinned with Bathsheba, and had her husband killed. Amos 6:4-5: these lazy meat eaters just lie on beds of ivory, “chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David.” So Clarke said let’s not use carnal entertainments and amusements like drums and guitars, as David did, because it’ll make us carnally minded, careless, and fleshly, and maybe end up committing adultery! Instruments will make us sin like King David! So let’s not play them! But Clarke forgot that David’s harp playing delivered Saul from an evil spirit (1 Sam. 16:23); and the prophet Elisha felt the presence of God while a harpist played (2 Kings 3:15). That’s talking about songs like those by Vineyard Music, Maranatha! Music, and Hosanna! Music, all of which use the same kinds of instruments as rock bands do, as David had clearly mentioned in Psalm 150. Arguing for a strictly a cappella view of songs, like Church of Christ does, is anti-Biblical: and yes, instruments are mentioned in the New Testament, so don’t even go there with that a cappella only argument: “the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, HAVING EVERY ONE OF THEM HARPS, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints” (Rev. 5:8). It should go without saying that if we love God, then we’ll want to sing and listen to “psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” (Eph. 5:19), without becoming an a cappella hymn snob, or only listening to Keith Green because he was a holiness preacher that lived a life above reproach; but neither on the other hand, should we allow ourselves to become extreme antinomians that allow our minds to become defiled by listening to the crime glorifying, devil worshiping songs of fools like those by 2Pac and Marilyn Manson. 1 Corinthians 10:21: “Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.”
