Having a negative image of public administration
which resists even positive experiences with government.

Candace Owens is a popular commentator who often talks about culture and politics in a way that encourages people to FIGHT against powerful elites. She focuses more on CHALLENGING AUTHORITY, being DEFIANT, and taking sides than on explaining detailed policies or moral arguments. Her style often makes politics seem like a clear “us versus them” struggle, and she presents herself as someone who speaks the truth. Critics say that her messages are mostly reactive and focused on conflict, so sometimes her arguments seem less important than the FIGHT itself. Its hard for me to take her seriously. She’s just a conspiracy theorist. Her arguments are unfocused and unreliable. She continues to be defined by her confrontational style and conspiracy theories, which create controversy. Confrontational Conspiracy Theorist might be an adequate description of the online persona she’s built for herself. But is she like this in real life? Maybe, and if she is, I sure wouldn’t want to be around her when she gets like this. It sounds like the ravings of a madwoman; not the zeal of a Spirit-empowered prophetess. –J.B.
