From the foundations of the world
The Author and Perfecter of our faith
Uttered mysteries with His voice
And conquered kingdoms by dreams

In droves, the wise men came and went
And few understood their ways
Because the Lord reveals His secrets
To His servants the prophets

They surprised the knowledge of fools
And moved in great power
But only in silence did they
Renew their strength and soar as eagles
