Anita Bryant’s Anti-Sodomite Campaign in Miami (1977)

The word “bigotry” was often used by the homosexual camp against Bible believers.

To define it:

obstinate or unreasonable attachment to a belief, opinion, or faction, in particular prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group. –Oxford Languages

obstinate or intolerant devotion to one’s own opinions and prejudices: the state of mind of a bigot. –Merriam-Webster

stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one’s own. –Random House Unabridged Dictionary

If faith in the Bible and personal adherence to the moral law of the Bible means that you have to be called a “bigot” by certain groups of people, well then so be it. “All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). Words like bigot and bigotry have no moral force when they are used on people to pressure them, to tolerate and accept sexual perversions, especially when those perversions can almost certainly lead to teachers molesting children in schools.   –J.B.

Those who practice homosexual acts are at least 12 times more apt to molest a child sexually, and with suitable corrections for bisexuals (who molest both genders), probably at least 16 times more apt to molest a child. A review of recorded cases of teacher-pupil sexual interaction indicated that of the 30 instances detailed in the literature, 24 (80 percent) involved homosexual acts. It appears that teachers who practice homosexual acts are between 90 to 100 times more apt to involve themselves sexually with pupils than teachers who confine themselves to heterosexual acts.

Throw Away Your C.S. Lewis, Chronicles of Narnia, and LOTR!

There are people who do not accept the full Christian doctrine about Christ but who are so strongly attracted by Him that they are His in a much deeper sense than they themselves understand. There are people in other religions who are being led by God’s secret influence to concentrate on those parts of their religion which are in agreement with Christianity, and who thus belong to Christ without knowing it. For example, a Buddhist of good will may be led to concentrate more and more on the Buddhist teaching about mercy and to leave in the background (though he might still say he believed) the Buddhist teaching on certain other points. –C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity, p. 178

I cannot give pederasty anything like a first place among the evils of the Coll. There is much hypocrisy on this theme. People commonly talk as if every other evil were more tolerable than this. But why? Because those of us who do not share the vice feel for it a certain nausea, as we do, say, for necrophily? I think that of very little relevance to moral judgment. –C.S. Lewis, Surprised by Joy, p. 109

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.   –Jesus in John 14:6

The law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine.  –1 Timothy 1:9-10

Biblical Economics 154: The Bible Says Go Into Business for Yourself

He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. (Prov. 10:4)

We are here told, 1. Who those are who, though rich, are in a fair way to become poor–those who deal with a slack hand, who are careless and remiss in their business, and never mind which end goes foremost, nor ever set their hands vigorously to their work or stick to it; those who deal with a deceitful hand (so it may be read); those who think to enrich themselves by fraud and tricking will, in the end, impoverish themselves, not only by bringing the curse of God on what they have, but by forfeiting their reputation with men; none will care to deal with those who deal with sleight of hand and are honest only with good looking to. 2. Who those are who, though poor, are in a fair way to become rich–those who are diligent and honest, who are careful about their affairs, and, what their hands find to do, do it with all their might, in a fair and honourable way, those are likely to increase what they have. The hand of the acute (so some), of those who are sharp, but not sharpers; the hand of the active (so others); the stirring hand gets a penny. This is true in the affairs of our souls as well as in our worldly affairs; slothfulness and hypocrisy lead to spiritual poverty, but those who are fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, are likely to be rich in faith and rich in good works.MATTHEW HENRY COMMENTARY

2023 – Biblical Economics – A Biblical approach to personal finance grounded in the economic theology of the Puritans. Goes over important concepts like providence, callings, worldly-mindedness, increasing income, budgeting, saving money, investing, financial lifestyles, and giving to the poor. 370 pages.

Biblical Economics is a monumental book. The author has packed so much into its pages that it is more like an encyclopedia than a book. In fact, I think of it as library on the subjects of (1) what the Bible says about work and money, (2) what the Protestant/Puritan tradition has said about work and money, and (3) what a Christian needs to know about the contemporary financial scene. For anyone seeking information and edification on these subjects, Biblical Economics is a one-stop destination. – Dr. Leland Ryken, author of Worldly Saints and Redeeming the Time

In one of his enduring adages from Poor Richard’s Almanac, Ben Franklin observed that: “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” Readers who invest their time studying Biblical Economics will be amazed to discover vital God-breathed knowledge, understanding, and wisdom—also used by the Puritans—that will not only pay the best return for one’s personal finances, but also pay great spiritual dividends as well.  God’s way works!  – Dr. Judd Patton, Professor Emeritus in Economics, Bellevue University

The Bible offers ample advice on the right way to earn, spend, and save money. But you need to know where to look for it. John is an expert guide who knows how timeless advice can be put to work in our everyday here and now. – Dr. Benedikt Koehler, Fellow of the Economics of Religion, Institute of Economic Affairs

Prophetic Word? Doubtful Preachers Must Warn Their Families!

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. –James 1:5-7

If the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.   –Ezekiel 33:6

The Millennial Reign of Christ

I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. –Revelation 20:1-6

Megiddo: The Omega Code 2 (Gener8Xion Entertainment, 2001). Although it was low budget, this TBN movie might be the most Biblical depiction of Revelation 20:1-10.

Enough has been said in reply to those who acknowledge the authority of the same sacred Scriptures as ourselves, but who, by a mistaken interpretation of them, conceive of the future rather as they themselves wish, than as the Scriptures teach. –St. Augustine, City of God 21.26

Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.   –Jeremiah 23:16

Isaiah 66:24 might be dated to 750 B.C.

Daniel 12:2 might be dated to 550 B.C.

1 Enoch, the Old Testament apocryphal book quoted in Jude 14, is from 100 B.C.

Virgil’s Aeneid Book 6 might be dated to 19 B.C. (Greek underworld). During the reign of Caesar Augustus, the same Caesar during the early life of Jesus (Luke 2:1). Virgil’s vision of Hell was so similar to the Hell taught by Jesus in Luke 16, that not only Dante’s Inferno considered it partly inspired, but so did many other medieval theologians.

Jesus’ teaching on Hell might be dated to 30 A.D.

When all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. –1 Corinthians 15:28 (KJV) [THIS IS THE FAVORITE VERSE OF UNIVERSALISTS]

When this is done, and all things are put under his feet, then shall the Son become subject to him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all, 1 Corinthians 15:28. The meaning of this I take to be that then the man Christ Jesus, who hath appeared in so much majesty during the whole administration of his kingdom, shall appear upon giving it up to be a subject of the Father. Things are in scripture many times said to be when they are manifested and made to appear; and this delivering up of the kingdom will make it manifest that he who appeared in the majesty of the sovereign king was, during this administration, a subject of God. The glorified humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, with all the dignity and power conferred on it, was no more than a glorious creature. This will appear when the kingdom shall be delivered up; and it will appear to the divine glory, that God may be all in all, that the accomplishment of our salvation may appear altogether divine, and God alone may have the honour of it. Note, Though the human nature must be employed in the work of our redemption, yet God was all in all in it. It was the Lord’s doing and should be marvellous in our eyes.MATTHEW HENRY COMMENTARY

When the administration of the kingdom of grace is finally closed; when there shall be no longer any state of probation, and consequently no longer need of a distinction between the kingdom of grace and the kingdom of glory; then the Son, as being man and Messiah, shall cease to exercise any distinct dominion and God be all in all: there remaining no longer any distinction in the persons of the glorious Trinity, as acting any distinct or separate parts in either the kingdom of grace, or the kingdom of glory, and so the one infinite essence shall appear undivided and eternal. And yet, as there appears to be a personality essentially in the infinite Godhead, that personality must exist eternally; but how this shall be we can neither tell nor know till that time comes in which we shall SEE HIM AS HE IS. 1 John 3:2. —ADAM CLARKE COMMENTARY

“Jews, Mohametans, Deists, Heathens, are all members of the Church of Christ! Should we not add devils too?…There can hardly be any doctrine under Heaven more agreeable to flesh and blood; nor any which more directly tends to prevent the very dawn of conviction…These are your arguments to prove that Christ is in every man — a blessing which St. Paul thought was peculiar to believers. He said, ‘Christ is in you except ye be reprobates,’ unbelievers (2 Cor. 13:5, KJV). You say, Christ is in you whether ye be reprobates or no. ‘If any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His,’ saith the Apostle (Romans 8:9, KJV). Yea, but ‘every man,’ saith Mr. Law, ‘hath the Spirit of God. The Spirit of Christ is in every soul’ (Spirit of Prayer, Part I. p. 63). ‘He that hath not the Son of God hath not life,’ saith St. John (1 John 5:12, KJV). But Mr. Law saith, ‘Every man hath the Son of God.’ Sleep on, then, ye sons of Belial, and take your rest; ye are all safe: for ‘he that hath the Son hath life.’” (“Letter to William Law,” (January 6, 1756) 2.5, in Thomas Oden’s John Wesley’s Scriptural Christianity, p. 218). –JOHN WESLEY

The Truth About the Sodomites – Dr. Hugh Pyle

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. –Romans 1:24-28 (KJV)

He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. –Psalm 107:20 (NKJV)
