The Positive Preaching Bias: An Unbiblical and Untruthful Representation of God

The Gospel Coalition, “Review: P. T. Forsyth, Positive Preaching and the Modern Mind.”

D. R. McConnell, A Different Gospel (Hendrickson Publishers, 1995).

Norman Vincent Peale, the author of The Power of Positive Thinking, had a tremendous impact on Pentecostal sermon delivery. The problem is, that Peale renounced the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, because that’s what you have to do in order to become a 33rd Degree Mason. They worship a phallic demon: it’s the greatest secret of their occultic secret society. Tons of people become oppressed as a result. They sell their souls to the devil for prosperity. See Ron Carlson’s sermon “Freemasonry and the Masonic Lodge.” It wasn’t until David Wilkerson met Leonard Ravenhill, that he started to move away from this overly positive mainline liberal nonsense, and preach righteousness with more seriousness and gravitas.
