22 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.
Against such things there is no law.
–Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)–
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
–1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV)–
1 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. 2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. 3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging, and comfort.
–1 Corinthians 14:1-3 (NIV)–
25 If an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are CONVICTED OF SIN and are brought under judgment by all, 25 as THE SECRETS OF THEIR HEARTS are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!”
–1 Corinthians 14:24-25 (NIV)–
7 I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, THE COMFORTER will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of SIN, and of RIGHTEOUSNESS, and of JUDGMENT.
–Jesus in John 16:7-8 (KJV)–
10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from His presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hell gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hell were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
–Revelation 20:10-15 (NIV)–
The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
–Revelation 21:8 (NIV)–
