An example of a man who was led by the Holy Spirit, but was never tied down to any one church, or under the “supervision” of an elder board. He had preacher friends, but he was not under anyone’s covering. He preferred good Baptist preaching more than anything else, although he would also answer speaking invitations to Pentecostal and holiness churches.
